Fired by love's urgent longings, I am his rocketman.

About Me

When I was a senior in high school, I invited Jesus to come into my heart and to fill me with the Holy Spirit.  That was the defining moment in my life.  After graduation from high school, I joined the Alleluia Community, where I have been a member for almost forty years.  I attended college and graduated with a BA in history and then spent a year in Brussels, Belgium, helping to build a Christian community.

I eventually enrolled in and graduated from law school; I have been practicing law ever since.  My legal practice has focused primarily on trial work, railroad litigation, adoptions and family law.

My wife, Sarah, and I have seven children, four boys and three girls, and one grandchild.

Raising children has been one of the highlights of my life — having a grandchild is pretty special too.

As time passes, I am discovering more and more about life, my life and the lives of those I love and interact with on a daily basis.  This blog gives me an opportunity to reflect and write about my experience of life — from the inside out, from an interior life infused with prayer and sustained by grace. I am happy to share it with you and I hope you receive some benefit through it.
